Your first pelvic floor physical therapy visit starts with a conversation.

This is a judgment-free zone.
Leaks, pressure, pain, whatever brought you in.
Ask anything.
Nothing is off-limits.

Next, a biomechanical assessment.
How do you move?
What does your posture look like?

Then an external and/or internal exam [only with your consent] This is where we learn what’s actually going on with your pelvic floor.

Can you do a Kegel?
Can you relax your pelvic floor?
How does your diaphragm function?
Are you able to engage your deep abdominal muscles?
Are you able to coordinate all of these together: your pelvic floor, your diaphragm and your deep abdominals?

Then we bring it all together.
We educate you on what’s actually happening.
A little education goes a long way.
You leave understanding the full plan [and with A LOT of homework 📚#🤓]

Been putting it off? This is your sign.
Book your first visit today. Link in bio.

One of my favorite lifts for a reason.

Trap bar deadlifts build full-body strength, train the hinge pattern, and let you load heavy without overcomplicating the movement.

Strong, simple, and useful for just about everyone.

Spent the weekend teaching Level 1: Intro to Biomechanics

Two days of breaking down how the body actually moves, why it moves that way, and what that means for how we train and coach.

Watching a room full of coaches leave with a completely different lens on movement, not just more information, is the best part of teaching this.

Grateful to keep building this with people who show up ready to learn.

Shout out to @landandsea.pt for helping me get to the root of my pain while running. In just one session with them, I’ve felt so much stronger, relief from the previous pain, and more confident to handle my training load. So grateful for their expertise and support - can’t wait to keep working with them!
