: GROUNDED NOISE

Same shift, different frequency.
This Friday UMZ UMZ takes a detour. We’re trading the rolling basslines for something stranger: a night of IDM, broken acid and experimental electronics. Perhaps starting with some experiments is the proper start to a party weekend. Or is it?

At the center of it: @god.is.a.perfect.sine, the Rome–Berlin duo of Stefano @menion_music Ferrari and @fabriziostirperoma Rossi, treating sound as raw material open to any kind of manipulation. Since forming in 2024 these Veterans have played the OHM Sound Gallery at Tresor and Freefield Fest, and debuted on @stirpe999’s ‘Trincee’ compilation alongside D’Arcangelo and Cindytalk.

@elfystonem b2b @______syrup move through intricate sound design, cinematic soundscapes, obscure samples and a healthy dose of noise, refusing binary logic on the decks and off.

@maxvolume23, co-founder of @kollagekollectiv and a free-party kid from the Spiral Tribe days, cuts breakbeat, footwork, acid and avant-garde electronics together like a collage. Fifteen years of DIY energy, still running hot and crazy, yet unbothered and moisturised. In his lane so to say.

♦️ Tonight on the CursedFM.com ♦️

@apache.wav is finally joining us on the airwaves after being on our radar for quite some time. Bringing us some minimal dirty heat from all the way from Bristol, UK, only on the Cursed Radio.

♦️ This week on CursedFM.com ♦️

Co-founder and host @rabbigrn steps behind the decks this week, building the vibe 2 nights in a row with a deep reggae / dub set on Wednesday (9th) leading into some high energy dubstep / drum & bass on Thursday (10th). This is sound system music, and you can expect dubs from local and international artists throughout these sessions.

He has been on our radar for quite a while, and we've finally managed to catch him for a guest set. We welcome @apache.wav to Cursed on Friday (11th) to take us on a less familiar journey through UK underground drum and bass.

All sets start at 19:00 CEST (Berlin), or 18:00 GMT+1 (UK)

Cursed returns to the deepest and darkest corners of Void.
Lay down on a beanbag and let the subsonic frequencies re-adjust your body and mind. Expect ambient soundscapes, manically programmed drums and otherworldly noises all with a heavy focus on B A S S with a mixture of live sets and dj malfunctions.
