For many children, bread is something they barely think about. For a child like Ghada, it is a precious meal, a comfort, and a reason to smile.

This may look like an ordinary loaf of bread, but when basic necessities are difficult to afford, it means so much. It can ease hunger, provide nourishment for the day, and bring a little happiness into a childhood overshadowed by hardship.

The rubble is still there.

💔 We went to the beach yesterday just to give our children a little happiness.

Half an hour later, an evacuation warning came.

We ran with the children, not knowing where the next strike would come from. Then we heard the explosion and saw the smoke rising.

We waited in fear for another strike before we could finally leave.

This is what childhood looks like in Gaza now.

Alhamdulillah, we are safe. 🤍
