Happy First Day of School!!!! 🎉 Hani is beginning Kindergarten! I know that she’s going to grow in knowledge as well and in wisdom and stature and favor with God AND with man! 🥹 My little warrior! ⚔️ And Eunice High School…get ready! Because everywhere that my husband Christopher Lewis plants his feet is made better and brighter for Jesus! His students are the luckiest in the entire world! We are just 5 days away from one of our favorite events of the year, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in the gym! If you haven’t gotten your team signed up yet, there’s still time. Gather your teammates, spread the word, and get ready for a great weekend of basketball. 🏀Friday, June 26, 2026: We’ll be hosting an Open Gym for tournament participants only from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. The cost to participate is $10. Come get some shots up, mix up teams, knock the rust off, and get ready for Saturday. A seeding meeting will take place immediately following Open Gym. 🏀Saturday, June 27, 2026 Doors will open at 7:00 AM, and admission for ALL spectators will be $6. We’ll have concessions available throughout the day with all your favorite game-day snacks and drinks. A few reminders: • The SLP Clear Bag Policy will be strictly enforced. • No outside food or drinks will be allowed. • All proceeds from this event go directly back into our boys and girls basketball programs and help cover tournament expenses. We are thankful for the support of our alumni, families, and community. Whether you’re playing, coaching from the sidelines, or cheering in the stands, we’re excited to spend the day celebrating Eunice basketball together. See y’all this weekend! For the past five years, it’s been the three of us. 🤍 And before we step into this brand new season, I just wanted to pause and honor the one that changed us forever first. Hananiah made us parents. She filled our home with joy, laughter, sparkles, and a kind of love we never knew existed before her. She is truly one in a million. And watching her grow has been the greatest privilege of our lives. This season has been so beautiful. But if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s this: Graham already has the greatest gift waiting for him, and that’s his big sister. So here’s to our last few days as a family of three… and to the beautiful new chapter that’s about to begin. 🤍

Bouncebacks > Setbacks. Whirlwind of emotions. New school , new community. All I ever wanted to do was prove to myself that I could do it. Like Jay -Z said “Put me anywhere on God’s green earth and I’ll triple my worth.” I always knew that if I walked with God , he would guide me to where I needed to be. Introduced a new version of E Town Basketball. Gained the love of The City , got my big fella an offer , Team GPA rose, better attendance, excitement about ETown Basketball grew. Had alumni come to games that haven’t been to a game in years. Took everything with a smile, stood tall in the face of adversity. Although the season didn’t finish the way I hoped. It was my first year not making the playoffs in my head coaching career, but the W’s I secured were bigger than basketball. And , I can hang my head on that. 282 Days until tipoff. Year 2 at The E will be one to remember. Today’s tears will produce tomorrow’s triumphs. Thank you , God. Thank you ETown for embracing a Humble Kid from Augusta , Georgia.
