Sammy from @___chnita___ uses the ancient “lost wax” technique - she sculpts in wax and then casts in silver.

Each piece is polished in seven stages, using four types of sandpaper, three polishing burs, and two polishing pastes to achieve the final finish.

Sammy handpicks all her gemstones—sapphire, moonstone, opal, topaz, aquamarine, to name a few.

In many of her designs, she sets the stone as if the silver has melted and is dripping around it.

Welcome @___chnita___ from Mexico City to Arete Studios! The designer, Sammy, was born in China and dreamt of becoming a fashion designer. She then went on to pursue design in NYC and spent a decade helping other designers realize their dreams. After moving to Mexico City, she made a bet on herself and has been growing CHNITA ever since.
