By nature we are Energetic Beings. The ancient yogic texts say we have 72,000 energetic pathways within the body called Nadis. Nadis translates to 'flow' or 'current'. The Nadis, like the Chakras, are not a part of our physical body, but they communicte with the nervous system.
✺
The Nadis are the channels in which Prana (life-force energy) flow through. Keeping them balanced and clear is the key to living a healthy and radiant life.
Our 3 main Nadis are Sushmna; the channel thatr runs up our spine and carries the ascent of Kundalini, Ida (chandra); our lunar side, cooling, feminine, and Pingala (surya); our solar side, dynamic, logical and masucline.
✺
When the left nostril is flowing more freely then Ida Nadi is leading and when the more air is flowing through the right nostril then Pingala is more dominant.
✺
The main purpose of Hatha Yoga is to bring harmony and balance to these channels through the use of purifying practices, asana (yoga pose), pranayama (breath), mudras and bandhas.
✺
They key to living a healthy, radiant life is understanding how these channels operate and how the energy flows through the body.
✺
RADIANT BEING: A guide to energetic mastery;
will give you the tools to melt through the layers of your human Self, to bring your entire being into balance and allow you to live your life to your highest expression.
