Often the moments without dialogue are the parts of the script actors find the most challenging. This was a fun one to explore last week. @__annahead was brilliant as always 🙏🏼 #acting #actor #actingclass #actingtips #actorcasting

Looking back at our very first annual event… it’s mad to see how far things have come.

Last year, we had 19 nominees, no un-produced script category, and just the beginning of what this festival could be. But the energy in the room, the films, and the people made it something really special.

Now fast forward to 2026…

We’ve got 32 films, 4 scripts, more live music, and more space and time to connect and network across the three days.

25–27 June 2026 and it’s shaping up to be a big step up in every way.

If you were there last year, you already know the vibe.
If you weren’t… this is the one to be at.
Get your tickets now on Eventbrite.

The second scene from ‘Strange’. One of my favourite scenes for a number of reasons: Freddy aced the lighting, the acting was superb, and I like the visual storytelling through shot composition and juxtaposition.

Very proud of this film and the team behind it!
