Woke up to a very nice surprise from my good friend @cardmyyard_miamisouth after 5 days post-op. And surprise! My PET Scan came back CLEAR! I was celebrated at work and at my nail salon @dtfbeautybar who always make me feel great! It’s been a journey since being diagnosed in June. And we are far from over. I want to make sure this doesn’t come back. For now, enjoying my early Christmas present.

Here’s your friendly reminder to get your tatas checked, from a Stage 2/3 Breast Cancer FIGHTER. From getting diagnosed June 11th to every day since, my family has kept me motivated. And in case you haven’t noticed, I haven’t allowed it to slow me down! In Casa Cuba we keep it moving! Thanks to my friends and family who’ve supported me through this, now not-so-private, time. But I think it’s important to share that women are being diagnosed well before the recommended age of 40 for screenings. So ahead of my 35th birthday on Monday, I’m asking you to make an appointment, donate to breast cancer research, tell a friend, ask questions!
