What a privilege it is to move.

And an even greater privilege to use that movement to inspire someone else to keep moving.

Being on the sidelines this year gave us a different perspective. A chance to watch the work, the sacrifice, the doubt, the discipline, and the people who helped get each of you to this moment.

Because the finish line is never really the finish.

It’s a marker in a much longer journey. A reminder of what you’re capable of when you choose to keep showing up.

You’re all LIONS.

Twin Cities Marathon 🏃‍♂️

A few more moments from a really special day.

So many great people, a beautiful morning, and a reminder of how lucky I am to be able to do this.

I know there will be a day when I can’t run, race, or push myself quite like I can today.

Until then, I want to take advantage of every opportunity, enjoy the people around me, and appreciate what my body is capable of.

Running with friends is a blast and brings so much energy to life.

Twin Cities Marathon 🏃‍♂️

Today was a special day. Great people, a beautiful morning, and an amazing race.

I wasn’t planning to race this one, but our weekend trip got cancelled, so we hopped in.

Being in a position to jump into a marathon, HYROX, or any athletic event on a whim is something I’ve dreamed of for a long time.

Some people go through cycles of training, falling off, and starting over. I’ve always wanted to stay ready for as long as I can.

I know there will come a day when I can’t do all of this the way I do today. Maybe life gets busier, priorities change, or my body has other plans. But I don’t want to look back wishing I had taken advantage of the time I had.

Today, I’m grateful I can. And today is not that day.

Running with friends makes it all that much better. So much energy, so many good people, and another day I won’t take for granted.

That’s a wrap on the Twin Cities Marathon 🏃🏻‍♂️

Training block was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had for any race and although I came up a bit short of where I wanted to be, I still feel good about the effort and am SO grateful for all the incredible people in my life.

Thank you to all the friends and family that came out to support today I love you all for real ❤️
