To be young, yet rooted in Jesus…there’s something so special about that. ❤️

Recently, our Communications Team set up a Transformation Story station where students had the opportunity to share how God has transformed, and is continuing to transform their lives, and how they are helping make other disciples along the way.

Meet friends Fallon and Azaria.

Fallon is part of our CC Student Ministry and recently invited her friend Azaria, who is connected to another local church, to join her for an Invite Night. As they shared their stories, one thing was especially clear: their friendship is strengthened by a common faith in Jesus, and they are encouraging one another to live that faith out.

In a world that isn’t always easy to navigate as a teenager, we love hearing young people talk about following Jesus, encouraging their friends and recognizing that they don’t have to wait until they’re older to live on mission.

We’re also incredibly grateful for our Student Ministry team and small group leaders who are creating a community where students can belong, grow deeper in their faith and learn what it means to be disciples who make disciples.

Disciples making disciples. That’s the mission, and there’s no age requirement.

May we never take our faith in Jesus for granted. May we remain eager to grow, eager to invite and eager to be the kind of disciples who make disciples and live on mission with Jesus, at every age and every stage.

Fallon and Azaria are showing us that we don’t have to wait. How can we follow their example and join Jesus on mission today?

ONE SPARK CAN IGNITE A FAITH FIRE 🔥

Lauren poured into Paige.
Paige discipled Alanna.
Alanna discipled Katey.

Katie began leading seventh-grade girls… and eventually baptized one of them.

One person intentionally helping another person know and follow Jesus... and the impact keeps multiplying.

That’s discipleship.

You may never fully see how far one conversation, one invitation, one prayer, one quiet time together, or one decision to intentionally pour into someone can go.

God can use YOU to help someone grow closer to Him. And that person can help someone else. And they can help someone else.

One spark can ignite the faith of many. And the impact can reach further than we may ever know... even into generations to come.

So here’s the challenge:
Pray today: “God, who have You placed in my life that I can disciple?”

When someone comes to mind, don’t wait. Reach out. Invite them in. Walk alongside them. Encourage them. Open God’s Word together.

You’re never too young or too old to be a difference maker for God.

And if you’re not sure where to start, get connected. Join a Group. Find people to grow with.

This is what discipleship looks like. ❤️

People showing up. Asking questions. Opening God’s Word together. Encouraging one another. Serving. Learning from each other. Helping someone take their next step toward Jesus.

And we LOVE seeing it come alive in our CC Students.

What’s especially powerful is that discipleship goes both ways.

Leaders are pouring into students... and students are impacting their leaders and one another. That’s how life transformation happens.

You’re never too young to make a difference. You’re never too old to keep growing. And you’re never meant to follow Jesus alone.

If you’re not serving or growing alongside others in a group, get connected. Take a next step.

God can use your presence, your story and your willingness to show up to change someone else’s life.

And you might just discover that He changes yours in the process.

P.S., If you are a High School student and not already plugged in with High School Student Ministry, it meets on Sunday nights at 5pm in the Student Center (CC Mandarin Campus).

What a powerful night. 🙌

This past Sunday, our students gathered for a Post-CIY Worship Night to celebrate all God did at CIY and all that’s to come.

The room was filled with passionate worship and hearts surrendered to Jesus. It was a beautiful reminder that God isn’t finished. He’s continuing to move in this generation, and we can’t wait to see what He does next.

If you ever need encouragement in your faith, spend a few minutes with these students. Their love for Jesus and their desire to follow Him is inspiring.

We’re so grateful for what God is doing in and through CC Students. ❤️

What. A. Week. 🙌

We’re so thankful for all God did through CIY MOVE. From powerful moments of worship to meaningful conversations and deeper friendships, it was a week our High School students and leaders won’t forget.

We’re praising God for the lives He touched and the ways He’s continuing to draw students closer to Jesus.

It’s not over!

All students are invited to our Post-CIY Worship Night on Sunday, July 26, from 5–7 PM. Come reconnect with friends, worship together, and continue pursuing all God has in store.

We can’t wait to see you there! 💙
