Tōfuku-ji Temple

I really loved the quiet at Tōfuku-ji Temple in Kyoto.

Founded in the 13th century, it’s one of the city’s major Zen temples. The stone gardens, with their wave-like patterns, and the way light and shadow move through the space make it feel beautifully considered and calm.

It’s an easy place to slow down and feel at ease for a while.

Take a peek behind the grooves with Abbie McCarthy as she reflects on the journey of Ezra Collective, Pale Waves, Maverick Sabre, and Nova Twins bringing their distinctive sounds to vinyl. We captured the magic at Metropolis Studios, as this beautiful celebration of raw talent, timeless craftsmanship, and the art of live recording all came together.

Tokyo’s grassroots football culture collides with creative expression in this 60 second cut down of our latest short documentary

Meet Kei Chisaka: footballer, community leader, and creative force. In a scene often defined by rigidity, Kei and his friends break free, infusing the game with streetwear, music, and design, redefining what it means to play together.

Follow a day in Kei’s life as we explore how young players in Tokyo are bypassing the mainstream, building community, and rediscovering the pure joy of the game, beyond the boundaries of professional football.
