Met my 23 year old self for coffee today ~
We both showed up a little early.
She asked me what our life looked like now, are we anywhere we thought we would be?
I told her “not sure, but maybe? We are now working full time on our designs on an island in the carribean - surfing and living slow”.
She looked at me for a second and said;
“About damn f*****g time” stood up, hugged me and left.

Since it’s been 24 years from my last post, I’m just gonna start dumping photos from the past months of living that I have been hoarding and not sharing. I’ve been so so so so so busy that I’ve just really needed to focus on living my life and not as much on sharing it but here it is this is what I’ve been up to:

I started the month of May on the east side of the island (Puerto Rico) with my girlfriends having the time of my life and woke up early on the side of the jungle, realizing holy shit I need to go to Nashville!!!!

but before I got there, I took a little break to try to learn how to make a palm hat and then halfway through gave up. It was a lot harder than it looked.

I finally made it to Nashville had the opportunity to make custom hat, saw a super rad band that we stumbled upon @ty_walker_and_the_humanoids

also did karaoke at a lesbian bar with my coworkers, and then visited one of my burner babes in New York, who took me to my first opera and on a driving tour of Katonah!

I did also try to dance Salsa but it’s not picture here because it was horrific. I did such a bad job because I can’t dance New York style Salsa. Thanks for inviting me out though. @flicoftherich I finally found some lip color that I bought when I was in Australia when I was on my way out in New York so score there.

I also got to see some really awesome perfume concept stores before taking some blurry plane photos and landing back in Puerto Rico. And that was just the beginning of the month of May. The weirdest part was having to wear so many clothes after spending so much time and oversize shirts and cut off shorts and no shoes. I felt like a cave person trying to reintegrate into society and when I finally returned back to the island, I was so happy to be back in the heat and the humidity.

There’s gonna be a lot more to come.
