Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of being apart of a focus group led by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), who are delving into the important role sport plays in children and young people’s lives, and it’s ability to change prospects and reduce violence. This focus group was designed and delivered by Reece @believeachieveldn , who sits on the board for the CSJ as the Sports Leader, where he plays a key role in tackling contemporary issues such as this. What an amazing job he did! 👏🏾 Amongst this inspiring group of men were coaches, athletes, student athletes, entrepreneurs, future lawyers and actors. Being in a room with such individuals and having the opportunity to voice our opinions on such an important topic was incredible. Huge thanks to my mentors Reece and Lord Hastings for this wonderful opportunity 🙏🏾🖤 - #ProjectAA #accomplishanything #believeandachieveldn #centreforsocialjustice #sportsandlives #childrensndyoungpeople

So I didn’t announce I am now sitting on the board of centre for social justice through the young lives in sport as the sports leader with lived experience 🥳🥳 THIS EVENING i chaired my first project I was set by the board. It was to bring together a handful of people that have lived experience through crime and also how sport helped them get out. This was so the government can hear real life experiences of what happens in the hood and get a research done with clear evidence to make CHANGES. My purpose has always been to be an example of being dealt a bad hand and learning to deal with it, make the best outcome of every situation encountered. Create opportunities for those less fortunate and struggle. I never saw myself being in any type of politics but I found a way in and now I’m in i am giving my all to make change! Our generation needs guidance, our generation needs more tools to help them see a brighter future for themselves👑 we was born kings and queens being great is our only option! I want to say a big thank you to everyone who attended this evening and had a powerful input at the round table conversation. So many ideas so many different stories with a room full of strangers that all come from the same type of back ground come together to have a solid conversation on how to make change. It was a real pleasure to be trusted by Sabrina who is the leader on the board to put such a interesting project in front of me and knowing I’ll conquer. Thank you to pups for creating this opportunity for me words can’t express how grateful I am✅👑 Believe & Achieve is a lifestyle not just a brand 👑👑👑
