Summer 2026:
Directed another short film with my film homies, caused chaos in Europe with @mvicuz, went to the @empireofthesunsound concert with my chosen family, worked on sets with the best art dept pals, met so many amazing people from LA to Germany and danced all night with the folks I love the most. Cheers to the good memories 🫶 Song: Bad Girls (cover) by @jamiroquaihq

Earlier this year, I was having a serious existential crisis where I thought having an artistic career really wasn’t going to happen for me, and maybe I needed to completely restart and rethink what I should be doing instead. But I gave myself one year, and said I’m going to make my own film, tell my own story and take control of my career, rather than wait for an opportunity to be handed. I’m still shocked that I somehow manifested it to actually happen, and somehow got some of the best people to actually believe in my story and join me in making it happen.

We’re only halfway there cause I’m working on the edit now, but just wanted to share how incredibly grateful I am to everyone involved. Thank you to my crew, it really takes a village!!! My amazing cast @cordelia.chao , Rosie, @dnisen , @thatalextang , and @perryjolietaylor . It wasn’t an easy story to tell, but you all brought it take after take. Thank you all for bringing The Children Trap to LIFE.

Special thank you to @reelasian for giving me this opportunity to be part of the Unsung Voices program! Our equipment sponsors @if_film_crew @_liftfilm @vivacamera.ca and our food sponsors, @superchickenaurora @northern_dumplingkitchen @thairoomgrand @chatimecanada (Chatime Aurora & Walmart) and to those who donated to our fundraiser!

One of the toughest and intimate series I've directed in Toronto shooting almost 18 pages a day in the middle of winter. Throw in some intense stunt work, and it was a challenge from start to finish. Big shout-out to my main man Robbie @robbie__m_williams for the stunt choreography and his special appearance. To our highly energetic producer Bonnie @bomibomee for giving us the creative freedom to play.

Always a pleasure working with superstar @johnpalmeredwards

Breathtaking visuals by the ace cinematographer @maxgleiser

Massive respect to the incredible cast and crew who gave it their all. Spent several weeks on #1 charts and ratings.

This was an absolute blast.
Now streaming on Vigloo.
Directed by yours truly. 🎬
