This weekend, the D.A.D.S. were able to volunteer their time to help setup, serve food and clean up for a wonderful fundraiser held by Liam Mortimer. He is working on his Eagle Scout Project throughout the Hudson River Valley and has a goal of $12,000! We donated a few hundred towards his mission and continue to help him through his journey. Great work Liam🇺🇸

Fútbol Is Life ⚽️

Sundays have been for soccer since I was five. I never imagined I’d still be lacing up at 40—but here I am, every week, cleats on, heart full.

Being a player and a teammate is part of my identity. The field flips a switch I can’t access anywhere else—my competitive spark lights up, I see what I want, and I go take it. No apologies for the steal, just a grin to my girl who almost had it too. 😉

As women—mothers especially—we spend so much of life making sure everyone else is comfortable and happy. On the field, the rules change. We take up space. We take the ball. We take our joy. And then we high-five and keep running.

But it’s not just the sport. It’s the sisterhood. The giggles that turn us into schoolgirls again. The chirps, the inside jokes, the we’ve-got-your-back energy—on and off the pitch. I’ve been lucky to share the field with some of the most amazing women I’ve ever met. Our friendships will live rent-free in my heart forever.

PS: Shoutout to our sideline sidekicks—the kiddos cheering (and snacking) while we are out there doing our thing. You’re part of the team, too. 🧃🧢

If this made you smile, please vote for me in Fab Over 40—your vote helps me lift up our community and fuel the work we’re doing for families.

To the women who are my oxygen.🤍

The day-ones who stayed. The late arrivals who showed up right on time. ⏱️

Friendships that fill me and leave me lighter, braver, louder. The ones that go deeper, are kinder and more understanding. 😊

Your 40s are about knowing who you are and finding the ones who fan your fire.🔥

Women who inspire me, hold space for me, and lift me (sometimes literally 😅) so I can keep going.

All of the amazing women in my life that I call friends couldn’t possibly be pictured in one Instagram post. So if you aren’t here, you know who you are and you know how much I love you. Thank you for cheering me on, making me laugh, letting me cry and making this life that much sweeter 🥰

I quite literally could not survive without each and everyone of you I’m so grateful for you. 💛
