SUDDENLY.

From zero “official” track offers at Johnny’s high school graduation to almost a dozen within a span of a few weeks - Johnny’s “SUDDENLY” was overwhelming. The Bible speaks of many SUDDENLY’s; where God opens heaven to pour graciously. We are beyond grateful for the pour. I still remember the late night call from the former Alcorn coach (Thank you Coach Joseph) that captivated our attention. He convinced us that we should visit Alcorn before we finalized a decision. June 17, 2021 was the first campus visit. Even though this school was literally in the middle of nowhere, we knew as we left Alcorn’s beautiful campus, that this was God‘s appointed place for our son.

Here we are, 4 years later. Johnny Holloway will graduate May 10, 2025, with Cum Laude honors. Job offer secured. Veni, Vidi, Vici. Johnny came, Johnny saw, and with God’s grace and mercy, Johnny CONQUERED.

The countdownn begins

Today’s Talk with the Kings event was an inspiring and educational experience for students! Thank you to Mr. Alcorn State University and the Alcorn State University Royal Court Jackson State University SGA President and Men of Excellence President. They had the opportunity to learn how to tie a tie, gain insight into college life, and discover essential leadership skills.Participants also discussed how to carry themselves with confidence and become responsible, engaged citizens. It was a fantastic day full of personal growth and empowerment, where students walked away with practical advice and motivation to succeed in both their academic and future professional journeys. Also we gave away many different door prizes! #Boys2men💙💛🔥
