It's always a joy to make music with the #jacobifamilyband (Kevin, Sean, Ryan, and Brian Jacobi), and it was an honor to join in celebrating the union of my former student Alex and her new husband Camrin. #friendswhoarefamily #lifelongfriends

Sawbill Lake mix now posted! We caught the last stretch of summer during this year’s BWCA camping trip. Deployed at our northern site on Sawbill, a night that led to another excellent showing of auroras, viewed from the hammock on the island, in range of a belligerent beaver. Shout out to Kev for waking me up to catch em. Music for listening during the quiet hours...link in bio 🏕️🛶🌌

Very excited to be a part of this new release from K-rAd, @__kevmachine__ and myself. This was the culmination of a few recording sessions at my place where long form jams ensued. Delectable groovers and zones for zoners. Check it out in the bio links! 🎛️🎹🔊

Sean & Kev solar eclipse mix is live! (Link overhead) A field companion that should pair nicely with the distinct light, esp if started with first contact. Local Mesopotamia conditions are looking fairly promising, a tad bit syrupy. Slow nod to all shadow dwellers on the path today.

I’m honored (stoked!) to have a mix featured for the exceptionally deep Beyond / Below, a series operated by @lexciya_ . Hi-Vis has earned my esteem via their swirly and moving sets (solo and w/ Farplane) as well as compelling original productions and curation of Dreamtone. Not to mention the kindness and encouragement they’ve offered. I am extra pleased that the mix encapsulates the awesome experience of observing the aurora borealis in full display during a remote wilderness excursion last fall. Have a listen! Or save for a time you can be in meander-mode. The entire series has a focus of pairing sound to experience in a way I really value. Thanks!

Beyond / Below 50 “Omega Lake Safari” by @kevmachine. Received December 2023.
Photo: Sean Jacobi - BWCA 2023

“We spent three nights under incredible auroras on a spit of bedrock beside a remote glacial lake in the North Woods just before the fall equinox this year. Prepared listening to further grasp the significance and connect deeply with our experience has been the ritual. At the center of each trip, and mix, was the glimmer of opportunity to see the lights. At this confluence of time and space, in the midst of powerful reflection, we let the music do its thing at the listening point on Omega Lake.

Keep looking up.”
