Hard to beat this summer, but I think fall might just do it 💍

I was honored to have my friends join me in attending the @alzassociation Walk To End Alzheimer’s at Liberty Station.

I don’t talk about it often, but my dad passed away from the disease when I was 10 years old. Today was a day of remembrance (for him and everyone else affected) but also a day of action, ensuring we do what is necessary to fight this terrible disease.

If you can, please donate using the link in my story. Volunteers are also needed in almost every community.

what a dream 🌟⭐️✨

I miss being on the court with my girls already!! My love for this sport has never just been about the sport, it’s the community, the representation, the giggles, the glitter, the menacing, the early travel days, the hotel room debriefs, the snacks brought to team meetings and every moment in between. I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world to do it with @usavwsnt 💛

@usavwsnt just got crowned the World Champions beating Brazil and staying undefeated throughout the competition

In August 2025 I took a contract as a dietitian with USA Volleyball @usavmnt @usavwnt indoor men’s and women’s national teams holding our olympians.

Shortly after my contract, I got the pleasure to transition to the women’s national sitting team in January 2026. This team is made up of 3x paralympians and a force to be reckoned with, to say the least. Led by a Hall of Famer, Bill Hamiter who has paved the way for sitting volleyball as a sport.

Although these ladies made every game look like they could do it in their sleep, fueling was NO EASY FEAT.

When backpacker meals for lunch and McDonald’s for dinner were arguably better options than the hotel buffet or street food for protein and food safety…you get the idea of what we were working with. 100° F heat and 80%+ humidity, hydration was challenging. This trip wasn’t luxurious or easy.

Not to mention the overhyped mandate to delay all games and shelter in place with the threat of Typhoon Bavi… that never came but a whistling breeze.

We practiced resilience, adaptability, and flexibility amongst the conditions, and lack of air conditioning.

I made roughly 80-90 pb&j’s to boost morale and energy. But, ladies, please refuel with the protein and veggie deficit we are in from that trip!

WE DID IT!!! Officially World Champions🌟✨

So unbelievably proud of this team, my hope coming into this quad was that we could compete at the highest level having the most fun. And that we did! We take our sport seriously, but never ourselves. This one was 18 years in the making and well worth the wait!

Proud of our fight, togetherness, whimsy, passion and JOY! Getting to accomplish another big milestone with my girls feels so incredibly special! You may now refer to us as WORLD CHAMPS!!! 💛
