"Hey y'all! My name is Mary Evans Cooper and I am from Opelika, AL. I am a psychology major and am so grateful to serve as the honors historian! My favorite memory in the Honors College so far is from the tea party. I'm so excited to meet everyone and make more memories :)”

Guatemala 2026!
What an amazing week. The Lord did so much through our group, and I couldn’t be more thankful to call them my family. Guatemala is a beautiful country with kind, generous, and loving people. I also had the greatest blessing of being baptized here with two of the most important people in my life, and I will never forget it.

wow what a joy it was to get to be the hands and feet of Jesus this week!! not only did we get to bless a family with a house, but we also got blessed by them in return. I am forever impacted by their pure love, joy, and generosity. Thank you Guatemala for the best week ever!

Guatemala 2026,

May this house always be a reminder of His grace & love. An opportunity for a grandmother to break bread with her children, grandchildren, & friends under a roof that represents security. An opportunity for community to gather. An opportunity to have gospel conversations about who God is and why He sent a group from Alabama to serve her & her family for years to come. Seeing how God is able to use us, broken sinners, as servants for His kingdom is the most beautiful thing.

Youth groups like Trinity are few and far between because these kids love like Jesus and are equipped to be His hands and feet because of how the Lord uses their mentors and pastors. Thankful to be apart of this group & how they welcome everyone with open arms. ❤️

This week has been special. Being able to come here was such a blessing and I can’t wait till I get the chance to come back. Guatemala is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. And I am so happy I got to experience this with the people I love. God is so good.

Guatemala 2026🤍🩵

Wow, what an incredible week! I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord this week. I’ll never forget the countless moments we all have shared together.
Guatemala is such a beautiful country, filled with kind-hearted people and a rich history. I got to witness God answering so many prayers throughout the week. One of the greatest blessings was being baptized here and publicly giving my life fully to the Lord. It’s a moment, and a week that I will cherish forever. God is moving in such powerful ways, and I feel so blessed to have been a small part of what He’s doing. All glory to Him. ✝️🇬🇹
