wow wow wow. I cannot even express the gratitude I have for the Holy Cross community for naming me this year’s Homecoming queen.

This experience has truly been the greatest highlight of my senior year. I am extremely honored to have been given this privilege.

To my fellow girls on court, I adore each of you and I’m so proud to have stood beside you. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mr. Kitchen & Mrs. Lavender, thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me as a person. I’ve enjoyed each and every moment throughout this process due to how caring and welcoming you both are.

To my friends & family, thank you so so much for coming to support me! Seeing each of you in the crowd cheering me on was truly so special. I felt so lucky to have so many wonderful people to share in my joy.

To Mom and Dad, I love you so so much! You both have taught me what it means to be a genuine, loving person. I’m so grateful that you both encouraged me through this process.

To Brandi, Natalie, the Landrys & Hollingsworths, this whole experience has been so special and getting to share it with not only my family, but Roman’s too has made it even more meaningful. Thank you for always being welcoming towards me.

Most importantly, thank you Roman for being my number one fan. Each time I would whisper “I’m so nervous, I feel like I don’t fit in”. You would tell me that I absolutely belonged. I am so grateful and proud to have a boyfriend as caring and supportive as you.

I hope to represent the Holy Cross & Mount Carmel communities the best that I can. Thank you so so much for providing me with love and support through this opportunity.
