Well I guess now is as good of a time as ever... If you saw me at @theroyalamerican this month, you saw my last show in Charleston.

Shelley and I have some exciting new adventures planned for the coming months including a move to NYC at the end of November!

I’ve been trying to see if I can book another show before I leave but honestly it’s going to be so hard to balance work, life, and planning a move in two months.

I want to thank Charleston for helping me grow my music from when I was 19 to sitting here at 26. If you attended a show over the last 7 years know that I’m eternally grateful. Don’t worry you can catch me in NYC!!!

I think about this picture a lot. Maybe too much.
The days of college house shows. When you weren’t sure if you’d be able to finish your set before the cops came. When simply being allowed to perform was the greatest gift of all. There was no stress, no expectation.

The dreams of success were so intangible, the lights of the stage so distant. No paid ads, no studio time, no trend chasing, just pure passion.

Seeing where I am now, looking back, it all started with these moments. I’ve grown so much, and worked so hard for everything but man do I miss when it was simpler.
