This is a reminder …My degreeS are Black. I’m one of the biggest HBCU advocates you’ll ever meet! There’s never a moment where I won’t take out time to speak to anyone about the absolute joys of attending & graduating from two Historicallly Black Universities. It was an absolute pleasure to speak on this panel of #BlackExcellence to the high school students this past Friday!

What a day! What a transformation!
Well…In progress. I love all the interaction you guys give from my parent’s home updates. They are living proof that you can create your dream oasis in a home you’ve been residing in for years. Fun fact: This house started off as my dad’s first pad with 1 bedroom, a kitchen and 1 bathroom! 😂❤️ The ultimate hangout spot for he and his friends.

Getting my mother on board to trust me (miles away) has been a process, but she’s doing a great job and I couldn’t be happier. Special s/o to the best @carter.lume for the color consult!

Now back to my meetings. ✌🏾
