😊 Here is just one example of how sometimes you don't have to go after a good weather and dark skies - occasionally they can come to us! 🙃

🌃 This photo would not have been possible if a dense fog had not covered the city during the late October temperature inversion and turned our astrophotography session the into a pleasant night trip in a dry 20°C. 🍻
Not bad considering we are talking about an elevation of 2700 ft. ⛰️🌡️

🔭As a result we can see The Soul Nebula - an emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia.
ℹ️ The Soul Nebula is being carved out by the stellar winds from the stars embedded within it, a process that leaves behind large pillars of material pointing inwards! 🤩

🌌🌃🌌 One of the natural ways to significantly improve the quality of the night sky in the vicinity of a light-polluted urban area - a city covered by a thick layer of fog 🤩

➡️ All that needs to be done is to wait for the appearance of the inversion, which is very characteristic for the Pannonian basin in November and December.

When we climb into the area of dry and warm air, fun and beautiful scenes are guaranteed 🔭📷🤳.

⚡ Squall lines in northern and central Croatia usually arrive from the southwest, or like the one in this post - from the northwest. 🌩️🌩️
⚠️ This CB we see here is raging above Međimurje 🇭🇷, hoping not to do damage like the one few days ago 🌪️⚡

⚠️Don’t worry, everything is fine with your eyes! 🧐

This is just a representation of the angular displacement in the sky made by the long-awaited comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) in just 16 minutes! 😲

🌠 This is a real racer! 😁

Although 5 days before the nearest approach to the Earth it did not become visible to the naked eye, it was worth organizing a short astronomical mission in the windy morning and at -4°C for a wonderful view through binoculars and a unique photo.

🌕 Since we couldn’t observe an almost total lunar eclipse because it wasn’t visible from southern Europe, there’s no reason not to try some new techniques of Lunar photography almost 2 days later. 🔭😊

➡️ With a declination of almost +23.5° and high above the horizon, The Moon is ideally positioned in the constellation of Taurus, well above the fog layer and with very little turbulence in the atmosphere. 😄

Great opportunity to take higher resolution photos with visible various mineral deposits found in the lunar soil. 🧑‍🚀
