medinaqartel pop up V1 9/11 CGN

my first ever pop up for @medinaqartel … it’s kinda crazy to think about how long I’ve been working towards this. since I was 15, I’ve spent most of my days thinking about this brand. designing, planning, spending money I probably shouldn’t have spent, staying up all night, starting things over and dealing with a lot of moments where I didn’t really know if any of it was going to work. there were times where I felt like I was putting so much into something without getting much back from it. but I always had this feeling that somewhere out there, there would be people who understand what I’m trying to create. maybe not today. maybe not tomorrow. but at some point. and I think that’s what kept me going. just knowing that I shouldn’t stop before I even get the chance to see what this could become. this pop up meant a lot to me because for one night, I could actually see people standing in front of something that I’ve been building for years. something that started with me sitting somewhere at 15 and just thinking about what I wanted Medina to be. looking back, I’m really grateful that I never let all the bad moments convince me to stop. thank you to everyone who came through, supported me, bought something, took pictures, shared the moment or simply showed love. thank you to my team and friends who have been by my side throughout this journey, and to all the artists who came through and made this night special. last but not least, thank you grandma for sewing with me all night long, just to get all those products ready. I really appreciate every single one of you. I don’t know where this is going. but I know I’m not done, not yet akhis. Yassin.
