Stop offering apology to fix it right away. Apology doesn't stop the pain of the hurt. Allow people process their hurt. When you say 'but I said I'm sorry'. You are manipulating them emotionally. Give them time to work through their hurt. If you force your partner to get over it, believe me, it will resurface very soon. . You cannot keep doing the same hurtful things and keep apologizing for it. It's another big form of manipulation. You allow them get angry over the same thing over and over again and then claim they are always angry. 'Right actions in the future is the best apology for bad actions in the past' .
