Sumaya Nazar 1446 Stickers, Poster, Signage / FLOAT ON MUSIC VIDEO OUT FRIDAY @ 12PM EST
Process Photos / Final Product / Crew Photo (1/3)

Slide 1: Final Product Signage
Slide 2: Sticker Printing Process
Slide 3: Sticker Final Product (uncut)
Slide 4: Poster Slicing Process
Slide 5: Poster Final Product
Slide 6: Sumaya showing off the poster at the 1446 Release Party held at Loudmouth BK
Slide 7: FLOAT ON music video team (more info/photos coming soon) (rotate phone)

These images show what I have spent the last couple months working on with Sumaya Nazar. Aesthetically, the poster includes three flowers each representing a part of Sumaya’s identity (the national flower of Tunis, Haiti, and the city flower of New York). Furthermore the poster is a mixture between the digital trend originating in the Philippines of celebrating artists achievements by putting their photo alongside the tagline “Philippines loves you” made by streetwear designers Xylk and Fleasayo and the style of the صباحو (good morning) WhatsApp photo/message trend that has recently had a resurgence. The stickers are all hand written by Sumaya with color inversion overlay. And the posters include all the songs on the EP along with the producer’s name, the length of the song, and the album cover. The poster has a Tunis Blue background in the bottom half and 1446 written in white Arabic text in the top right panel.

I’ve always wanted to work with Sumaya since I first met her in the Fall of 2023 and I’m very privileged to have worked with her on this merch/design campaign for her EP 1446 (also the deluxe is out now on all platforms). Her incredibly determined work ethic and our constant feedback loop really created an environment that allowed me to be creative and expansive with this project while still keeping the 1446 project identity intact. I can’t wait for everyone to see the music video made by 1495 with yours truly as the Production Designer!

PS: Remember the FLOAT ON music video staring Sumaya Nazar and zane IS COMING OUT THIS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH @ 12PM EST!
