Growing my passion for carnival I have entered the Face of The Festival 2027 for Toronto Carnival. I have placed the link in my bio & I would deeply appreciate anyone taking the time to vote for me! #toronto #torontocarnival #voteforme #carnival

My Bio ———————————————————————

I strongly believe I should be the face of the festival because Toronto Carnival is not just my happiness, but my pride and joy. Toronto Carnival has helped shape me into the person I am today, helping me discover my passions, strengths, weaknesses, hidden talents, and so much more.

When I put on my first carnival costume, I knew it wouldn’t be my last. I wanted others to experience that same feeling of empowerment and freedom. After a few carnivals, I wanted to become more involved, starting with costume modelling and band launch performances. I wanted to show that carnival is for every body type, and that everyone deserves to feel represented, confident, and beautiful in mas.

Secondly, I created The Jayquion Carnival Tour to bring people together, especially those who may not have anyone to experience Carnival Day with. Beyond creating a space for people to enjoy mas together, I wanted to make carnival more accessible through discounted pricing while helping newcomers understand the culture, traditions, and meaning behind the experience.

My passion extends beyond the road. Throughout the year, I host carnival presentations across Toronto to educate others about our Caribbean heritage and share the stories behind our traditions. To me, carnival is more than a costume or a celebration; it is culture, community, empowerment, and ancestral acknowledgment. Every body plays a mas, and everyone deserves the opportunity to experience what makes our culture so special.

Having been part of Toronto Carnival for almost 10 years and representing the majority of mas bands, my connection to this festival goes far beyond participation. It is my pride, my passion, and a part of who I am.

A single moment can tell a story through atmosphere, a glance and an emotion. in the heart of Amalfi Coast, our goal was to capture timeless elegance, framed by an iconic piece of Italian design: the fiat cinquecento vintage .Every detail, every ray of light and every smile helped make this photoshoot truly special✨

Thank you, to the model @__shea , for bringing naturalness and character to this moment con @positanoexplore 🚗📸🇮🇹
