One of my favorite places to be: on the track with my teammates.

There’s something special about teammates - we see each other at our best and our worst. We work together, we support each other, and we have fun doing it. I spent the last month working with some of my favorite people (@the__gabs & @parkervalby), in one of my favorite places and now I’m approaching the last week of the season where I’ll be racing the steeplechase @weltklassezurich on Aug 27 and @istaf_berlin on Aug 30!

Bet on myself and walked away with something to be proud of. Finally.🥈

No secret I’ve struggled hitting podium at USAs. I think I always get to this meet and stop running like myself, like I’m stuck on defense the entire race. Decided to change things up this year and send it on the offense for once. Happy with the result, my highest placement at a national championship.. but always hungry for more.
So thankful I have the best village in my corner cheering me on every step of the way. I always feel it.🤍
Ready for some more fun this summer📈

Emma Coburn returns to the USATF Championships this weekend after several years away from the starting line. This quote from our conversation last winter on For the Long Run feels even more meaningful today. Sometimes the comeback isn’t one big moment. It’s showing up for the next run, then the next one, and eventually finding yourself back on the starting line. Good luck this weekend, Emma.
