Fashion tells stories and tonight, the story was all about identity, heritage, and power.

At M/FW’s "See Me. See Us. Black Joy in Fashion" panel, three Black and POC stylists shared what it means to build visibility in an industry that still has work to do.

Colour is more than a hue. It's history, it’s presence, and it’s the future of fashion in Australia.

Introducing THE VIBE CURATORS ✨

Styling isn't just about putting together an outfit - it's about creating a feeling, telling a story, and yes, curating pure vibe.

Our featured Black Diaspora Stylists understand that fashion is a language, and they're fluent in speaking joy through every piece they select, every texture they combine, every silhouette they perfect.

They see styling as an art form - one that celebrates individuality while honouring our collective beauty. From red carpet moments to editorial spreads, they're the ones ensuring Black Joy takes centre stage.

Ready to discover how they style joy as a full expression of fashion? Use the link in bio to secure your spot!

From October 21–23, Melbourne Fashion Week invites you to experience See Me See Us: Black Joy in Fashion — a three-night celebration of creativity, culture and unapologetic Black brilliance.

This isn’t just fashion. It’s a movement.
Across three powerful evenings, stylists, photographers and designers from across the African diaspora will take the stage to share how they craft, capture and embody Black Joy through fabric, light and the art of self-expression.

💫 The Vibe Curators (Oct 21) — Meet the stylists who turn everyday expression into visual poetry.
📸 The Black Lens (Oct 22) — Step behind the camera with photographers redefining beauty and representation.
🪡 The Tastemakers (Oct 23) — Celebrate designers who weave storytelling and culture into every thread.

Each night will be filled with rich conversation, laughter, inspiration, and connection — a reminder that joy is not just emotion, but resistance, creativity, and love in motion.

So come through. Dress in your boldest, brightest fits. Bring your energy, your stories, your pride. Let’s fill the space with Black joy, community, and celebration.

🖤 Dates: October 21–23, 2025
📍 Locations: Various Melbourne venues (including Torrens University & City Bowls Melbourne)
🎟️ Tickets: Reserve via Humanitix

Let’s show the world what joy looks like when we’re seen, celebrated, and shining together.
See Me. See Us. Black Joy in Fashion.
