Japan Exclusive today, one of the simplest yet most sought-after silhouettes among Nike OG collectors.

This model screams '90s! From its sharp shape and lightness to its colorways, the 1991 Men's Run is one of the most coveted models. There are five versions, from the MR-1 to the MR-5. The latter and the fourth are, in my opinion, the best. As I've mentioned in previous posts, it was an Asian-exclusive model, which, along with the women's version, the LR (Ladies Run) and KR (Kids Run), formed part of a line called "School Attack," circa 1988-1991 (production years).

Someday we'll complete the line; there's no rush... just perseverance. Everything comes in its due time. And, of course, if you're patient, you'll find it at a good price, as was the case here. Thanks to Takahiro for his kindness and excellent service. Also, thanks for the information about these models. 🇯🇵✨️

Here we have the selection I talked about in previous post. 🇯🇵 Japan Exclusive models. This document is gold. I've spent a lot of time searching for these pages, all thanks to Marco, @lo_sneakerista who eventually realized he had this catalog. Today we'll share a fragment of this catalog with you all. I'm sorry for the watermark, but you know how it works. Remember where you saw it first 👀

First, Nike Mr-V, second, Nike Vigor, and finally, LR-2. Running models from 1991, exclusive to the Asian market. Affordable and simple pairs, made of polypag, EVA, and solid rubber soles. Some made in Thailand and others in Indonesia.

I've added a few photos of Mr-V on the feet of various friends, all credited and tagged.

I also want to talk about the Vigor and the LR-2. As we all know, in the 90s, Nike launched the same model, but depending on the target market (region) the name, materials, and other details changed.

In this case, Nike Vigor (Asian market) would be Nike Gaunlet in the USA/Europe, with the only difference being that the Gaunlet had a heel stabilizer.
In the case of the LR-2, in the western market, it would be the Nike CoreJogger with a change in the materials, but same design. Special mention to @wuodar_ for selling me his at a good price 👊

In conclusion, of the entire selection shown, the most exclusive was and is the Mr-v, with no variations in the West. It's a highly sought-after pair, and usually not cheap.

Tried a high-quality Arabica coffee variety grown in the Gayo region of Sumatra, Indonesia. Just amazing! As an expresso or cortado, top Flavour!

On feet the Japan Exclusive Mr-V from 1991, released in five different cw's. Burgundy shown on pictures. A simple and affordable pair back in the 90s, this made in thailand model is made from Polypag, Eva and solid rubber. As simple as it gets.
