Thessalonians 5:18:
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thanks @coaches_corner_digest for having me at this year’s San Joaquin top 40 showcase. 3pt contest was 🔥. Proud to make it the championship round with 11 made threes but fell short to another really great shooter.

Great experience overall. I’m just a kid from the 925 trying to make it happen. Love and appreciate you.

Standing 6’1”, Jayven Dempsey is proving why he’s becoming one of the most talked-about guards in the Class of 2029. His game isn’t built on flashy plays—it’s built on pace, patience, and making the right read.

A true three-level scorer, Dempsey has shown he can create for himself, make teammates better, and defend with intensity every possession. His ability to slow the game down, change speeds, and compete on both ends has helped him produce wherever he plays.

This summer alone:
🏀 Team Prodigy (Puma NXT/Pro16): 11.2 PPG
🏀 Mountain House: 15.0 PPG | 2.3 SPG
🏀 Greenline: 17.0 PPG | 2.6 SPG
🏀 Cali Live: 20.0 PPG | 3.2 SPG

What makes Jayven different isn’t just the numbers—it’s his approach. He’s focused on helping Freedom High return to the playoffs, representing his family name with pride, and chasing growth every single day.

At this stage, his ceiling continues to rise. As he gets stronger, more explosive, and gains varsity experience, expect his recruitment to continue trending upward. Guards who combine IQ, toughness, scoring ability, and leadership are always valuable.

Potential isn’t given—it’s earned. Jayven is putting in that work.

To Jayven Dempsey:

Don’t let compliments make you comfortable, and don’t let criticism make you doubt yourself.

The player everyone sees on game day is created by the version nobody sees at sunrise.

Stay addicted to improvement. Chase mastery, not attention. Outwork yesterday. Outgrow expectations. Outlast the competition.

One day they’ll call it talent…

You’ll know it was discipline.

Jayven Dempsey (C/O 2029 | 6’1” G/PG) is proving why he’s one of Northern California’s rising guards. A poised floor general who plays with pace, controls the game, and impacts both ends, Dempsey continues stacking strong performances against older competition while showing the maturity, leadership, and IQ coaches covet. His game keeps trending upward, and this is only the beginning.
