Recently, @erichendrikx and I had the privilege of visiting @theremixproject and speaking on a panel with board of directors co-chair @catrionasmart in discussion of public relations and the digital media landscape with young, talented future industry leaders. It’s such a beautiful and inspiring creative space in downtown Toronto, complete with recording studios, DJ lab, social lounges, photography studio, performance space, and opens into an auditorium where we met for our panel discussion.

The Remix Project is an initiative that helps level the playing field for talented youth who face barriers to pursuing careers in arts and entertainment. Through multidisciplinary arts training, students focus on personal and professional development to strengthen the creative community. From young graphic designers to fashion moguls in the making, audio engineers to PR professionals, there was so much passion in the room. 🎨📸🎙️

During our discussion, one student asked for book suggestions. The conversation led to our commitment to helping develop a library for students to borrow from. Eric and I will be donating a number of our favourite books soon, and if you would like to participate, please send us a DM and together we will help stock the bookshelves with books on leadership, entrepreneurship, creative arts, music production, fashion design, photography production, business management, and more!

Please provide recommendations of your fav books below!👇📚

🌟A heartfelt thank you to Catriona Smart and everyone at The Remix Project for the warm hospitality and inspiring conversation! ♥️📖
