My brain still hasn’t comprehended the week that has been!!! 😍😍😍 I was Announced as a finalist in 5 Industry Award Categories between @mochabeautymedia and @dermaviduals @derma.aesthetics_ standing beside some of my industry idols in these and I cannot believe it!

Have been climbing my way through the beauty industry as beauty therapist since I was 16, specialising in Corneotherapy with Dermaviduals for 9 years and hustling so bloody hard to build up my very own business Naked Aesthetics for the last 6 years. So I thought this year I’d give myself a crack at entering the beauty industry awards and I’m so stoked I did.

Can’t wait to celebrate with all the girlies doing cool things in our industry in Sydney in August 💗💗💗

48hrs in the big smoke for the @bestinskinawards as a finalist in the Skin Needling category.

My first ever crack at industry awards and to even just make the finalist selections was more than I could have ever hoped for. I stand true to working in a space that’s left of field in the industry to showcase that anything is possible when you create trust through your education, skill set and expertise. As you can see in my case study submission of revising post operative surgical scars on my clients breast implant removal. (Swipe to the fourth slide for juicy content)

My treatment protocol was.

Daily home care:
- @dermaviduals regenerative support serum containing (vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin E, Liposome Concentrate Plus, Zinc).

- Oleogel for the week post needling.

Treatment:

- Began treatment about 6 months post operation.
- 8 skin needling sessions spaced 6 weeks apart.
- One thorough pass at needle depth 0.5-0.7mm to soften upper connective tissue in the epidermis. Followed by 1.5-2mm needle depth to penetrate the dermis for remodelling activation. Aim was to see blood pooling to know we had reached targeted depth and activated the skins controlled wound healing response.

The result was beyond incredible. I wish you guys could feel the difference because the B + A photos do not do justice for the change in texture from a thickened rope to smooth skin. Also the coolest part of all, she had full nerve sensation return to the area.
