Show 98 of 2026 - Wicked 20th Anniversary Gala Performance (Round 11).

Wicked has always been one of my favourites & holds alot of memories. It was the first show I saw when I started to get back into theatre, going for my birthday with parents, I've taken friends to see it for the first time and introduced my goddaughter to it.

Being there today for its 20th Anniversary show with friends was alot of fun & they really did put on a show but on & off stage. From being able to see costumes up close, to a free drink on arrival, free commerative tote bag & programme, past cast members, a green carpet full of famous faces & an AMAZING cast who you knew were feeling every emotion with the audience.

Plenty of goosebump moments, especially during 'As Long As Your Mine', 'Defying Gravity' & 'For Good'.

Here's to another 20 years 💚💖

Edinburgh 2026 : 14/08/26- 18/08/26

General Edinburgh photo dump. I am always going to take photos of places I visit and well Edinburgh is pretty photographic. Definitely one of my favourite places I've visited (and still so much I haven't seen). The history of the city, the history, the buildings which is walls could talk would have endless stories, the list goes on.

A major plus side of Fringe is that you get to go into so many different buildings and places that you probably wouldn't go into any other time. The city is manic during August but it all adds to its charm.

Add in time spent with friends with our usual chaos, laughter, memories made, it was a great and much needed weekend away. Until next time Edinburgh.

Most of my content here is about my job as a nanny, but with a “no photos of my nanny children” policy and them being in school 75% of the year, I don’t post often these days.

Frankly, given the crazy hours I have worked this month (over 80 hours per week on average) I have been so ready for half term and a week off, it would be more appropriate to talk about managing/ preventing burnout in any case.

So, what’s a girl to do? Plan a road trip with friends to see a favourite show. Cardiff’s only a couple of hours’ drive away, our favourite show is on… car singalong was locked in with some absolute bangers and the weather was GLORIOUS.

We had a wander around Cardiff Bay, a cheeky Nando’s and lots of laughs - just what the doctor ordered - and managed to squeeze in a two show day around it 😁

I’d had a cute show-themed mani/pedi earlier in the week during some downtime, and the bracelets were made by friends I have met through the show. Everyone has a different way of filling their cup… time at the gym/ with a book/ with a camera/ at a show/ listening to music/ with friends are my favourites. When I can combine the above, magic happens!

Thanks for the memories, my lovely crew!
