Founder of OPAL NIGHTS, the female-led platform putting women at the front of Manchester’s underground, with residencies at Midnight Audio Sanctuary and Steam Radio.

Drawn to dark atmospheres, rolling grooves and vocals with a bit of bite. House, techno and the cosmic stuff in between, hypnotic and late-night without ever losing their playful edge.

Lineups shared with Horse Meat Disco, Todd Edwards, Aldonna, and most recently Facta and K-Lone.

The time is almost upon us for the first in a series of Sunday parties @honeystreet.studio. Tickets are free and in the usual spot 🔗

Introducing @djcharleswebster. Operating in house music since the late-80s, Charles Webster is revered as something like the producer’s producer, spoken about in the same breath as Larry Heard or Ron Trent amongst the DJ cognoscenti. He's released under 30 aliases, done 600+ remixes, and made All Systems Gone as Presence, a forgotten masterpiece that earned a never-repeated 11/10 from Mixmag.

@em__ora & @mayacrossodemudia are a Manchester DJ duo with roots in Bristol and South London. Both are residents on @crop.radio and @steamradiomcr , and have supported K-Lone and Logic1000. Expect anything from dubbed-out downtempo and deep house to techno, breaks and leftfield bass.

Plus support from residents Bobby D and Pollen from @___andbeyond___ and @_abby.harris & @j___w___b for @adhesive_audio.

Luma joins us for his first show on steam. A DJ and musician, his music combines fun indie electronica elements with a more recent growth towards downtempo/ambient leaning ear candy. Tune in 11am-1pm to hear what he brings!

@nossamcr ! are back ! Eclectic, jazz, post punk, weird independent, leftfield selections for your early afternoon. Hannah and Isaac have built a reputation for creating ecstatic, friendly and joyful dancefloors which invite each dancer to build it alongside them. Listen in 1-3pm xx

‘Link Up’ is a multi-genre radio show with host, @joeyb.guidingstar. Expect to hear Dancehall, Roots, Reggae, Afropop, UKG, UK Funky, Amapiano and Rap in a quick fire juggling and turntablist style.

It only makes sense that they’ll be warming things up for us on the 23rd @honeystreet.studio taking us through a mixture of house, deep house and ofc the disco edits.

You may already have heard them playing out and about around Manchester and Stockport, with Abby’s residency on Steam Radio and Midnight Audio Sanctuary, as-well as being the creator of Opal Phase, or Annie’s involvement with Semi Peppered and their recently launched festival, Fully Peppered. Alongside their B2Bs at Bruk and ōdiobā, the gals have been booked and busy.
