Another full orbit around the sun. 36 in counting. 🌞🌎

I’m grateful for every friend, family member, mentor, and collaborator who has made a positive impact on my life. I believe in staying true to my word, speaking up for what matters, and recognizing the value of friends, family and community.

The journey is not always easy, fun, or anyone’s definition of perfect. Still, I have remained consistent in building a life around what I love. At the beginning of 2026, I was deeply reminded of how fragile life can be with the loss of a close friend and my father.

Every day is a gift. I do my best to be of love and service through life with meaning, purpose, and the belief that both the people around me and I are ALL truly worthy. I don’t allow anyone to convince me otherwise. LOVE wins and I practice those values with every chance I get.

A little over a year ago, a mentor encouraged me to pick up a Steadicam—something I never imagined I would pursue. Once I immersed myself in the craft, I felt those butterflies again. It became a rebirth of why I love storytelling, why the film industry matters so much to me, and why the community within it is so important. It is a practice built on movement, balance, discipline, trust, and the support of others.

My Chicago roots will always be deeply engrained in me—from the city’s resilience and sense of community to a lifelong love for the Bulls and Bears. Some of my most meaningful memories are going to the games as a child.

This year, I lost two people that gave me lots of love in my life. We spent many times watching films and going to sports games together. I now can carry their love, energy, and belief in me everytime I step into the steadicam rig. I dedicate this next chapter of my practice to them.

I continue to move forward—grounded by the people I love, strengthened by my community, and grateful for the opportunity to keep telling stories.

Endlich wieder richtig tauchen! GEIL!!!

No Way bei diesen Verhältnissen.

The ability to shoot in higher frame rates with the ALEXA 35 Xtreme removes the need to carry a separate high-speed camera on most shoots. This streamlines production workflows, saves time and money, and ensures that high-speed footage matches seamlessly with standard-speed shots in post. Already owning an ALEXA 35? Upgrade it now at an ARRI Service Center in your region!

Thank you to Stijn Van der Veken ASC, SBC (@stijnvanderveken1) and Jan Matthys for sharing their footage and thoughts with us!

Official poster for the short film HARPIA (design @annakoptenko) which I had the immense pleasure of writing and directing. It’s quite unbelievable that this film is finally finished! It was a truly thrilling adventure with seemingly impossible challenges, joy, frustration, lessons, but most importantly passion! It was an honor to work with such talented and dedicated artists in front and behind the camera. A big THANK YOU to everyone involved, for creating this strange and seducing world of HARPIA.
See you soon at the Cast/crew Premiere!-
