Today we are celebrating Heidi Strauss, who has been nominated for the 2027 Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prizes (The Johannas). 🌟 The Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prize was established to honour the spirit of Johanna Metcalf (1932-2018) and her patronage of the performing arts. These prizes are in support of creators in the performing arts who have made a recognized impact on the field and the public, and who show great promise in the ongoing pursuit of their ambitious and visionary practice. Congratulations Heidi! 🎉 Thank you to @metcalf.foundation and @ontarioartscouncil for the support.

Nothing is done in isolation. Collaboration is a part of what we do so this nomination is shared with all the people who collaborate (and have collaborated) with us. We’re together in this! We’re grateful for you! 💛

The sound you hear is by Jeremy Mimnagh and the invisible organizing magic behind the scenes is done by Aliah Schwartz. Thanks to the test audience who came out to support.🌱
