spent the weekend honoring my best friend the best ways I knew how. @matthew.allen68, not sure how it’s already been a year of missing you but I promise to continue eating all the foods, watching all the sports, remaining strong in my faith & telling all the silly jokes for you🩵🪽

get out of your comfort zone & go for it. ✨

moving to charleston was one of the most pivotal decisions of my life, and i’ll forever be grateful i took that step. 🫶🏼

since being here, i’ve uncovered parts of myself i didn’t know existed. i’ve gone deeper in my faith, found a new sense of freedom, filled my days with life giving things, met incredible people, and experienced so much growth in the process.

this is your reminder that you don’t have to stay stuck in the same environments, patterns, or cycles that are keeping you small or keeping you sick.

sometimes the life you’ve been praying for exists on the other side of one brave step forward.

my 27th sunset soiree themed bday 🎂💫🧡

if there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love a good theme and romanticizing life even more 🫶🏼 this past year especially reminded me how much each day is worth celebrating.

details behind this theme: sunsets became something I held onto more than ever this year. in the midst of uncertainty and chaos, they reminded me of the beauty still around me; that every day is a gift, God’s mercy is new every morning, and there’s always light to be found if we’re willing to let it in. ✨

the morning my uncle passed, I sat outside and prayed. when I looked up, yellow butterflies surrounded me, and they’ve followed me ever since. yellow has always been my favorite color since I was little because I loved Winnie the Pooh & even coined the nickname “poohbear” from my uncle. seeing those yellow butterflies made me feel so seen. they remind me of the hope of him in heaven and the way God’s love carries us through. 💛

I know your life looks different than mine, but I pray this reminds you that even in the most broken seasons, there is beauty and we can all learn to let the light in. 🕊️
