“Delayed but not denied”

In 18 days, I officially graduate with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Stating this is the HARDEST goal I have ever worked for would be an understatement! There were times I second guessed, cried, and felt like giving up but still I continued. The early mornings, late nights, 225 senior clinical hours while carrying my legacy, the doubt, the sacrifices, have all been worth it now that I’ve made it to the end.

I’ve lost several loved ones along this journey— This moment isn’t just for me but Papa Bo Bo, Papa, Cousin Verdell, Cousin Henry, family members who played a huge role in shaping who I am today. Each loss added weight to this path, but also gave me even more reason to keep going in their honor.

And my motivation, my Grandma 🫶🏾 Donna Marie, always told me, “The world is your oyster Taylor Marie“ and the constant replay of these words remind me to keep going! If I could pick up the phone and tell her anything right now it would not only be how much I love and miss her but tell her I’m finally crossing the stage! She was my biggest cheerleader and I know she’s proud of me up there in heaven 🩵😩

So this is me—pushing through, rising above, and becoming everything I was meant to be.

Your girl is almost a BIG RN, BSN 🎓👩🏽‍⚕️
