Friday 23rd October - Groove Relation

Groove Relation returns for another deep dive into UK sound system culture.

This time, at Eastern Bloc nat fanuel is joined by Tom Body and Tom2Traxx. Together, they’ll weave through UK music from 2001 to 2026, spanning techno, dubstep, UK funky, and garage — all played strictly on wax.

Expect selections drawn from influential labels such as Unttitled Unknown, Tempa, Hessle Audio, Livity Sound, RKS, and DMZ, delivered with the depth, weight, and warmth only vinyl can provide.

We (authors of this text) have been trying lately to get better at making decisions - a little healthy aggression, no more hiding, learning to appear in full. And then, for this party, we decided to intentionally fail with discipline and not to choose.

Three posters. Two days. And then, rather fortunately, a rather excessive number of artists we genuinely wanted to hear.

Perhaps we simply wanted everything.

We begin Saturday evening and go until Sunday morning. Then, at 3 p.m., we open another chapter and continue until late. With new perspectives and a different way of inhabiting the space 💫

ONE YEAR OF PM2AM pres. EVAN BAGGS

We’re so thrilled to announce that we’re going into one year of the label hosting NYC born and Berlin based House and techno pioneer Evan Baggs, even better being at notoriously appreciated space @hiddenclubmcr

6 hours of knees up action in one of Manchesters greatest underground venues, not only hosted by Evan, local artists Cersy, Allius & Ngoma will take us through a b3b which we can guarantee you’d hate to miss. Also Label boss, Harry Simms opens the shop on the night too.

Huge thanks to everyone who’s come to all our parties over the year and we’d love to see you down again on this night and the many more to come, tickets are out on Resident Advisor get them whilst you can!

Thank you to everyone who came by our AW26 pop-up at the weekend. It was great to show so many of you the new collection in person.

Hosting the pop-up at @onsite.records felt like the perfect match, with customers seamlessly browsing between the rails and record bins throughout the weekend. Anyone who picked something up from the collection also walked away with a free vinyl of their choice.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by. We’ll see you all again soon!
