One year of converging together is actually crazy!

We want to give thanks and show love to all of our homes, teachers, artists, creatives, and healers that have contributed their talents, skills, and spaces to the community over the past year.

It has been an imperfect but beautiful journey that we think reflects the more realistic human and community experience: just showing up, figuring out things as you go, trying new things, working through feelings of self-doubt and awkwardness… through the discomfort we get the chance to connect, learn and grow more deeply together. Thank you for being apart of the process with us 🌀

We’re going to do our best to tag everyone here, so once we max out on tags we will post to the comments. We encourage everyone to give these folk a follow and support their journeys with convergence and beyond!

We love welcoming new friends into the collective, so if you or somebody you know that would want to be apart of the next year of Convergence, please tag them below or send us a message!

Amongst other things, we will be cooking up a Google survey and potentially a small gathering to hear from our community and reflect on the past year; what has went well, what can be improved, and what we can add to the experience and intention of convergence to make it more socially inclusive, sensitive, and functional.

Thank you for one year 👊❤️

Erick Cruz, born in Taboão da Serra, São Paulo, Brazil, is someone deeply passionate about the dancefloor, art, and the depths of the human soul. After living for 27 years in the favelas and communities of São Paulo, feeling lost, he found in Psytrance what he never thought he would find: himself. Alma Noise is the name of his project, born from the fierce belief that the soul's inner noise can be translated through music and psychedelic frequencies, elevating one's consciousness like a transcendent journey. He moves forward, always driven by the challenge of bringing hope wherever he goes.

So happy to finally share some moments from Summer Convergence!! This is just a small glimpse into the hot day we spent outside together moving, creating, and connecting. If you missed out, don’t worry, we’ll be back in the fall with some (hopefully) cooler temperatures and spooky vibes 👻

We are always so thankful for the new faces that find their way to convergence, and the ones that continue to show up; whether that is through your hosting, teaching, creating, playing, or attendance, we are grateful!!

What makes convergence special is the familiarity of the people who are apart of these events, while also welcoming in new faces each and every gathering. Our intention is to be the meeting point where this can be a place to foster a sense of belonging and community to people as they get to create, move, heal, and build new relationships, and find other smaller communities to explore.

We will post more photo’s as they come (please send in anything from summer convergence) and be on the look out for our fall convergence date :)

THANK YOU! 🌀❤️

Summer Convergence schedule just dropped🤲🏻

We’ve got a packed day of music, movement, and creativity; these are some of the best catalyst’s for bringing a range of identities together to create and foster community, relationships, and connection in a way that is inclusive and accessible (it’s free and fun too)

We will have:

a diverse lineup of sound that will progress throughout the day into the higher realms of tempo 🌀

2 opportunities to explore your body through yoga flow and movement.

2 workshops designed to encourage connection with the community and with your inner creative.

1 community art space that’ll be open all day.

1 lollipop 🍭 stage for those brave enough to dance!

This is a safe and inclusive space for ALL ages, races, sexes, genders, sexual orientations, and physical/mental abilities. We do not welcome or tolerate haters, bigots, misogynist’s, homophobes, racists or the like! 🫂

In the coming days we’ll be sharing more details on the local teachers, vendors, and artists who are helping make summer Convergence happen and what you can expect 🙌🏻

Talk to you soon!

Last weekend I had the pleasure to open the psytrance festival with a live reading of my poem at the @leveecollective with DJ @_almanoise. Such an incredible night, with passionate artists dancing in the rain! Here is the pre-recorded version of the magic. 🙌🏼
