The opening of “Migration Stories” was such a wonderful experience and a beautiful way to celebrate Black History Month. This exhibition, inspired by Jacob Lawrence’s “Great Migration” series, highlighted the stories and experiences of the people that make up the very fabric of this country. Thank you @jennebella for honoring our voices and curating such a unified display of work. “Migration Stories” will be on view until February 21.

OMG! @back_alley_bread has opened up around the corner from Marion Street, right on Rockaway Ave. I tried the pineapple creme brulee icecream, the cinnamon bun, the chocolate chip cookie, their version of a beignet, and the blueberry pancake soft serve (see photos on their page). A MUST try!
