The inspiration for a great meal often begins long before we turn on the oven. Our Beverage Director, Brandon Phillips, recently returned from a journey through the heart of Oaxaca, where he spent time exploring the region’s incredible local distilleries and uncovering rare, distinct spirits.

We are thrilled to bring the essence of that trip to your table. Join us on October 1st for a special evening where Brandon’s hand-selected Oaxacan spirits meet Chefs Collin Parker, Al Rodriguez and Kevin Hickey’s culinary vision. Joined by Jason Cox, Founder of @elalambiqueserrano and @5sentidosagave we’ve designed a five-course tasting menu specifically to highlight the terroir and tradition of these unique spirits, resulting in a dining experience that is as much a journey as it is a meal.

Seats are limited for this one-of-a-kind pairing dinner. We invite you to grab your spot and experience the spirit of Oaxaca, right here in Chicago.

Grab your ticket on @resy or visit www.duckinnchicago.com

Why if it isn’t ol’ Dr. Phillips’ and his fantabulous Cel-Ray Highball! Fresh celery juice, toasted celery seeds and cane sugar create the base soda for this miracle concoction. The fine folks at @nicholsfarmandorchard brought the good ducktor some gold rush apples, which he promptly put into delectable @haymansgin. He claims there ain’t nothing it can’t cure, but then again, he is a quack!
