Fashion Month came and went, but African models were all over the runways.

From New York to London, Milan and Paris, faces from across the continent showed up for some of the biggest houses of the season — bringing their own presence to collections that travelled far beyond where they started.

So we pulled together a few of the African models we spotted across Fashion Month.

Some familiar names, some newer faces, all of whom are worth knowing.

With the SS27 season well underway in Milan, following the New York and London Fashion Weeks, we’ve been paying close attention not only to the designers and collections shaping the runways, but also the models bringing them to life.

From her debut as a Prada exclusive in 2024, Ama Okolo has continued to return to the Prada runway season after season. With every appearance, she further cements her place as one of the familiar faces of the Prada family.

Ama has now walked six consecutive Prada shows, including the most recent Menswear an impressive journey that highlights her continued presence within the Prada universe.

Ama @_amaao made her debut in September 2024 with @prada. Since her incredible debut, she hasn’t missed a single womenswear show and was even recently part of the lineup for the menswear show.

Four seasons later, Ama returns to the Prada SS27 runway, making this her 6th consecutive show with Prada. What an incredible feat for you, my darling @_amaao !!! and for everyone at the agency @inline.mgmt.

Incredibly grateful to the entire @ashleybrokaw team, my fabulous friends at @fashionmodel.it, and every single person who has contributed in one way or another to Ama’s success.
