In the great words of LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, I wouldnt trade one stupid decision for another five years at life.

I had a really hard time picking a song, I went from electro to folk to pop and I just couldn’t find what fit such a huge moment. I mean 12 years put into one song just like how 12 years were celebrated in three hours. Walking on that stage felt surreal as I had seen many walk before me. It’ll be nice to know that this is the end of “last high school ____” and the start of “first adult ___.” I don’t know what’s next but thats whats so exciting. Bookends is one of my favorite albums ever and I’d like to close on this chapter of my life with an album that changed my perspective of ends and beginnings since this is truly both.

One night sped past like lightning. Food, dancing, and friends: all of my favorite things put together into a night I really will never forget. Thank you Isaac for being my prom date, I loved every minute and it was so fun pretending to slow dance with the real couples. The first and only prom I will attend and it was everything I could’ve asked for. Thank you guys❤️🪐

I was so excited when it was announced that we would be putting on a production of Descendants, one of my favorite movies growing up. This show definitely lived up to my hype but passed my expectations. I’ve been a part of four shows at Utica now which have all been amazing, but this was one of the best. So many talented people worked so hard on and off stage to make this show as incredible as it was, and I’m honored to have gotten the chance to work with them.

So I know I’m posting this really late in the night so some of you will be waking up to this. Sorry about that. Love you guys!!
I’m still having a hard time believing this was my last show at Utica.
Theatre has always been an escape from the hard things in life for me so it’s weird that it’s now time to move on from it. It has helped me in so many ways: giving me my closest friends, teaching me how to stand up for myself, and most importantly allowing me to be my self in every way.
This show was a fever dream but the best kind. I never thought I would catch myself saying that Descendants was perfect for my last show but here we are. It’s crazy that there were so many kind talented people shoved into an auditorium like that making such a perfect show but that happened too.
There are so many people I’m gonna miss but, to those people who I got to spend my evenings with, know I will always be a call or text away.
I added some videos from the past four years as I started theatre when I was 14 and am now 18. I will always cherish everything Troupe 4260 has given me and hope that those who I got so lucky to act with, continue to carry on in theatre.
Thanks for the love, kindness, and little moments that keep me pushing forward.

Signing off,
F.G.
(All sorry I was only allowed 20 tags and ran out💚💚)

Thank you Theater for bringing me together with a whole new group of family. Thank you Niki for encouraging me to be tech even though I chickened out of auditions. Thank you McKenna,Abby,Owen,Brendan,Gage,Kit, and Amaya for dragging me out of my comfort zone. Thank you Kailey for believing in me and welcoming me. To be honest, Rock of Ages was one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. I’m so glad I met all of these wonderful SUPER TALENTED people. Unfortunately, in every show the curtains will close for the last time…but those curtains will open again with a new show and new beginnings!!!!
