It’s hard walking away from something you invest so much into. All the time, effort, and the friendships you built along the way. I wish I could say everything @trainingleaders_athletics has impacted me with, but I can’t, because it is too much of my life. I had found the people to walk alongside as I grow, and how I can rely on them, and help them realize they can rely on me. I have learned to go far in life, I need to go with others, because going alone will make sure the temptations are harder to avoid.

Thank you to TLA for all these years, where they have watched and taught me how to grow, and never stopped believing in me when I was burnt out, or in a time of injury. Thank you for always bringing me to be the leader I didn’t know I could be, and helping me realize that I am who God says I am, and there is no point to hide who I am. I really think I skipped over the difficult High School years because of your guidance.

Thanks to the EC program athletes who have impacted me during my TLA path. Your motivation and support helped me persevere. To the older athletes, thank you for being a role model for me and what it looks like to step up and lead, and to the younger athletes, I hope that I was able to lead you guys well. I am really thankful for all of you guys, the people who heard my story, the people who were there to support me, and the people who always pick me up while I am struggling.

I thank TLA for all of the growth in the last few years, but I need to really thank Mike Rubin, for nominating me for this opportunity, because You saw something in me at the first power camp, and from the bottom of my heart, Thank you so much, I would not be who I am today if it wasn’t for this recommendation.

Devin went from his prom after party (5am arrival time at home) to jumping in the car at 5:30am for a 2.5hr drive to play a full game of soccer. Crazy!

The boys ended the match in a 1-1 tie.
