thank u to everyone who made our Mother’s Day event so incredibly special.
Even though my busy schedule made me run a bit late, the second I arrived, I was blown away.
This event showed me the true meaning of Mother’s Day coming together, sharing love, and feeling completely supported and celebrated. Everything was absolutely perfect.

A massive thank u goes to @sarashenna for being such a wonderful host and organizing an event that was so full of joy

@shehnai_lush the decoration u put together was breathtaking and made the room look so magical.

Im still baffled, and buzzed about the fact that without posting a single thing on Instagram, we managed to get a group of 22 total complete strangers coming together for an Iftaar at the AIA Carnival!?! Say whatttt! 😦 That truly says something about what we all really needed….

What started off as a way of getting to know some creatives I’ve been following and interacting with on Instagram, turned into an idea, that blossomed into a beautiful community that has now grown double triple in interest already since the first story we posted of the meet up and just like that so organically and beautiful we have created HK’s very own Muslim Women’s Community!

There are moments that stay with you, & this was one of them.💕

I attended my very first Henna, Hijab, & Hustle event hosted by the beautiful @sarashenna , & honestly, I’m still soaking it all in. Walking into a room full of women I didn’t know, yet feeling completely seen & accepted, that’s a feeling I’ll carry with me.

I met the most incredible women. We laughed, we talked, we shared. No judgment, just open hearts & real conversations. There’s something so special about being in a space where like-minded sisters genuinely uplift one another. Their energy, their warmth, their beauty, inside & out, left me inspired.

Thank you, @sarashenna , for creating this space & for having me. & thank you to every woman I met, you made my heart so full.

Alhumdulilah! ❤️ Today was nothing short of amazing! I had such a fantastic time connecting with all the lovely🥰 girlies who are so passionate about what they do. Each one of us brought something unique to the table—whether it was incredible henna skills, content creation, makeup, a zeal for fitness, or conquering the corporate world. It’s inspiring🥹 to witness such diverse talents all in one space!❤️

A huge thank you to @sarashenna for bringing us all together! It was delightful to chat, share our stories, and create a vibrant atmosphere for Muslim girlies to bond and uplift each other. I truly believe that our strength lies in our support for one another💪🏼. One of the most beautiful aspects of Islam☪️ is how our character reflects in our interactions, and today’s gathering really showcased that😘. My heart feels so full!🥹❤️🤲🏼

Speaking of talent, @sarashenna , our amazing henna artist, had her stunning mural🤩 at the AIA carnival. We had the joy of helping her with last-minute touches, which made the experience even more special. 🥰
