Alright y’all, the time has come. 🥁

As Where It Lies moves into this next chapter, we’ll officially be looking for a new full-time drummer.

We also want to take a second to give @against.tim his flowers. This dude has been a huge part of helping build this band into what it is today. Our music would not sound the way it does, and we would not have made it to some of the stages we’ve reached without everything he’s put into WIL.

As Tim begins stepping back from the full-time role, he’ll still be helping us through the transition, but now we’re looking for the right person to carry the sticks into whatever comes next.

So if you’re experienced, equipped, willing to travel, ready to invest in yourself and the band, and genuinely want to grow with us, we want to hear from you.

DM @whereitliesmusic or email whereitliescontact@gmail.com to audition.

Onto the next chapter. 🖤
Stay positive.

Still riding the high from last night. Opening @hawthorneheights in front of easily the biggest crowd we’ve ever played for was unreal.

Irvine, you showed us so much love and we felt every bit of it. Huge thank you to @hangar24orangecounty @hangar24sessions and everyone who showed up early, rocked with us, and made that set something we’ll never forget.

We seriously cannot wait to be back. 🖤🤘

This was hands down the biggest crowd we’ve ever played for in our entire musical career. Absolutely unreal.

Huge shoutout to @hangar24orangecounty and everyone in Irvine for showing up, making us feel loved, and rocking the fuck out with us. We appreciate you guys more than you know, and we will absolutely be back.

Big shoutout to @easylivin_123 for having us and to @hawthorneheights or trusting us to set the tone for the night.

Seriously, what a fucking night. Thank you, Irvine. 🖤🤘

Please take a moment to wish our 2nd Libra brother the Happiest of Birthday's! Since day 1, @_anthony.x_ , has brought such a posITive attitude, ambition and drive to Where It Lies.

If you know Anthony, you know that underneath those big muscles, he has the kindess heart and a goofy personality that can brighten anyone's day!

Happy Birthday brother! Thank you for always keeping us all grounded while still allowing us to keep our heads in the clouds throughout all these years. Here's to many many more! 🤘

Well, the cat’s out of the bag. 🖤

You guys commented, shared, tagged, and showed up for us.

Because of that, Where It Lies will be opening for @hawthorneheights on October 16th at @hangar24orangecounty

This will be the biggest show we’ve played so far and our first sold-out show.

We seriously cannot thank you enough.

Every share, stream, comment, ticket, shirt, and person who has supported us helped get us here.

We’re gonna play our fucking hearts out for you guys.

Thank you. We love you. Let’s fucking go. 🖤

Everyone, it’s time to wish the man, the myth, the legend the happiest of birthdays. 🎉

@mikelira13 has led us through some of the craziest storms we’ve ever been through, and honestly, I don’t think Where It Lies would be where it is today without him.

He’s the original founding member of this band, the guy who had the vision from the beginning, and the one who believed in all of us enough to help turn that dream into something real.

We’re still building it, still growing, and still seeing where this thing can go, but one of the coolest parts of the journey has been the bond we’ve built with this dude as our leader, brother, and friend.

We’re insanely grateful for everything he’s done and even more excited for what the future has in store for all of us.

So cheers to you, Mike. 🍻 Go buy this man a bottle of Jack Daniels and wish him a happy fucking birthday. 🥃🎂
