Joining UDance freshman year was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Standing at the barricade for 12 hours, watching exec perform the line dance and seeing all of our B+ Heroes cross the stage, I remember thinking, I want to be a part of that.
Two years later, I almost didn’t apply. I was scared I wouldn’t have enough time to give it my all—but I’m so grateful I did. Being on the Family Relations Team as the Sorority Greek Life Liaison Chair has been such a blessing.
This year, I had the opportunity to bring something new to exec called “Onco 101.” Every Monday, I shared what treatment really looks like from a hospital perspective. We raise money, spread awareness, and advocate for these families—but I didn’t fully understand what these kids go through until I worked in it. I made it my mission to show just how strong and resilient these B+ Heroes truly are.
I also had the pleasure of planning Girls Day, which was one of my favorite moments—watching our B+ Heroes walk the red carpet was something I’ll never forget.
Beyond everything I was able to contribute, I’m most grateful for the people. I was surrounded by the most compassionate, hardworking individuals who quickly became family. They supported me, pushed me, and reminded me why this organization is so special.
And to our B+ Heroes—getting to know you has been the greatest gift. The strength, joy, and light you bring into every room is something I will carry with me forever.
$1.7 million raised this year—but more importantly, over 1.7 million memories, smiles, and moments that remind us exactly why we dance.
FTK 💛
