Renegades is YOURS now and forever.

This dark pop anthem was produced by @_antoinebreton , features guitar from Neil Goes and has also been touched by local producer @devonseegers

So much has gone into this piece, and I’m so ready to share it with you.

And, what better time to release this than during a snow storm?

“It’s cold outside” ;)

I have two EPs I’m hoping to release this year!

First, a Self-Produced EP titled “The Space in Between”. A collaborative project between the whole band: @hj_frost @rachelacostello @seizefiremusic @migado_ and overseen by the great sonic wizard @_antoinebreton

The second is an untitled ep produced by @_antoinebreton himself, featuring my upcoming release, Renegades, with an accompanied music video. We’ll debut it with a live band performance at @strandtheatrehudsonfalls on February 20th!

Anyways, I’m enjoying having things to look forward to. Which EP should I release in its entirety first?

February 20th. My band. Lucas Garrett’s Duo. The Strand Theatre.

I’ve been sitting on this song for a long time because it needed to feel right ✨

Renegades is about navigating queer relationships as a young adult, in a very small town.

Touched by local producer @devonseegers and finished by Montreal’s finest, @_antoinebreton , I’m excited to share this with you in its completion.

Only at @strandtheatrehudsonfalls

Hey so… my second single, “Ride Or Die”, is out June 27th @ midnight (EST)!! Happy pride month! 🏳️‍🌈💔🥲

“Ride or Die” is a bit different than my first song. She’s more dramatic, more heartbroken, but also from a different era of my life. I began this song in late 2022 and it has lived many lives before being finished in early 2024. Because of that, I wanted to keep it locked away. Like a secret diary entry never to be read again, but, as always, @oliviabrookemm is ahead of the curve. Without her consistent faith and drive to keep this song alive it may never have turned into the theatrical banger I’m now so excited to share with you!!! MAJOR MASSIVE thank you to @_antoinebreton for every minute you spent working on this track. Every layer, every intricacy fills me with so much joy. You heard the vision and ran with it… and then did twenty extra laps 😭🫶🏽

Disclaimer: this track has a tendency to absolutely SLAP and also tear your heart out
